i HATE modern poductions like this, as far as i am concerned it is just up its own arse... HOWEVER this dorabella is quite superb and i love her rendition of this piece, i would love to see her in a proper production not one that fancies itself...i cant bear the sort of feeling behind this gimmicky staging...ugh...childish...dor­abella was not supposed to be frumpy for heavens sake either...she is meant to be tarty and sexy and exciting and attractive...beautiful voice...lovely xx

This only confirms Maite Beaumont as the best Dorabella of recent times (and she not a bad looking Dorabella either!)
