Presentación de MARACAS - Ricardo Curbelo

Dedico esta presentación de MARACAS, al maestro Hugo Devia en Colombia; exponente al más alto nivel en la interpretación de este instrumento que he conocido, de quien tuve el honor de aprender; con quien con gran placer compartí escenarios en representaciones del Llano junto a los demás interpretes seleccionados por excelencia e integrantes del 'Festival Llanero'. Extiendo esta dedicación a dos grandes maestros guitarristas de música Latinoamericana: Maestro Hernán Morales en Chile, Maestro David Caswell en la Isla de Wight, Gran Bretaña, y a todos los impulsores representantes de éste instrumento en la tierra oriunda del Joropo, el Llano de Colombia y de Venezuela, donde se compite internacionalmente por el premio al mejor Maraquero.

I dedicate this MARACAS presentation to maestro Hugo Devia in Colombia, the best exponent of this instrument I know, from whom I've had the honour of learning and also the great pleasure of sharing the stage in different representations of Los Llanos, along with the other excellent members of the group 'Festival Llanero'. I extend this dedication to two great guitarists of the Latin American Music: maestro David Caswell, in The Isle of Wight and maestro Hernán Morales in Chile. And finally, to all the representatives of this instrument there in the birth place of JOROPO, The Plains of Colombia and of Venezuela, where international competitions award prizes to the best 'Maraqueros'.
