This four digits number is a number for staffs of JR to identify and manage Shinkansen trains.

YYY= Train No.

I think that the train which has stopped at left side of this platform is probably a deadhead train (out of service) because the number YYY is 854. For your information, the train that four digits number is even number runs to Tokyo direction.

A great video. I went on the shinkansen 700 on a day return trip from Tokyo to kyoto in April '06.I liked it very much. Very comfortable seats etc.kyoto is a wonderful place.

The Shinkansen is very comfortable. I was born in Kyoto (Kitano-tenmangu), so I know much about Kyoto. I can go in 1 hour to Kyoto from my house(Osaka). Some day I go to Kyoto and take a video of sightseeing spot.

I look forward greatly to going back with my wife and daughter for a holiday some day.We loved Japan so much.We also went on the Romancecar train to Hakone and stayed at the lovely traditional Fujyia hotel.There was terrible fox so we didn't see Mount Fuji, but the gardens of the hotel were fabulous.

You stayed at Japanese cultural hotel. Fujiya Hotel has a long history of 130 years. I have not stayed once yet. I'd like to stay there some day. Please come to Japan again with your family some day! (^-^)
