Ever wonder what the sleeper car is like on Amtrak? We give a little tour of our roomette, the shower, the movie theater and the arcade car! We love Amtrak and their more enlightened bike policy (esp. compared to planes and Greyhound). They are a great compliment to bike travel!

The Coast Starlight is an epic train! Hence the name of my youtube account. I got to ride on private rail cars on the back of the Coast Starlight from San Luis Obispo to Los Angeles, vids are on my youtube account. I also have shot boat loads of videos of the Coast Starlight track side which are on my account as well.
Another cool train to ride is the California Zephyr. I have ridden in sleeper cars in the California round trip between Reno and Chicago several times over the years.

Oh man, I didn't know about the arcade or movie cars! I should have checked that out when we went on the Coast Starlight during the summer. The one thing I think you left out is that with a sleeper you get free meals (as in, anything on the menu, for free -- including free hagen daas ice cream for desert).
Other than that, great job & thanks for sharing!
