Facial Tracking Study

This is my first ever Facial object tracking. The dots on my face were for tracking and I got to lazy to edit them out. THIS IS THE SAME AS BEFORE BUT THE END GETS CLIPPED WHEN UPLOADED. SO I LOOPED IT 3 TIMES.

this is great work man...what tracking software do you use??? i've seen your stuff once before but got to your page through another link off a ufo video... and need i say my friend that vfx ufo comp is indeed some amazing work...

I used Syntheyes. Didn't use survey shots just straight facial tracking. Not the best but I guess not bad for a first try.

You track them and then attach a small skin piece and parent it to the tracking null. And Your're right. I'm too lazy.

Awesome. Only gripe is (not sure if mentioned in previous comments) is to match the lighting with the actual light source.

A softer key light will do the trick. Chances are too is that the light source is more overhead, like a ceiling light. I'm going off of what shadow is casted on your neck/other eye.
