  • lol the style in Aria was anime too, just a different kind.

  • It's okay as a one-off type of thing, I wouldn't want to see it become the norm. Which each game seems to have unique artwork so that's good.

  • Portrait of Ruin was just a little anti-climactic and the bosses were pretty uninspired. The final area and confrontation in Dawn of Sorrow is just plain epic and Portrait doesn't have anything like that.

The art style switch is a bit of a turn off, but the game is fantastic. It's hard to explain what made Portrait of Ruin fall flat for me. It's still a great game it's just not as great.

  • The only problem about PoR is that the partnering system had a lot of potential it just wasn't approached as well as we could have thought. And of course that a later on game is gonna have more unlockables and is gonna be more playable and fun.But I agree both games are awesome!I'm gonna get OoE(Order of Ecclesia) the day it comes out! Can't wait!

  • nawtrly seeing as how every site gave this a better rating... so ideekay, im getting this one

  • I say get both if you can. both of them are awesome.

  • wtf the anime style owns!

  • me too.
