  • I think the reason your losing leads on the cast is because your using pva bags and your not feathering the line on the cast ansd stopping the spool as it hits the water if you know what i mean. If you dont feather it down or fish to a clip on the cast the leads when its entering the water is push against the tail rubber and causing the lead to eject also its worse when using pva bags as well.

  • Yes that is what is happening, one mistake on a cast, and we all do it, and you lose the lead.also yes im using big bags sometimes.cheers for watching and thanks for the comment.tight lines

  • i think you might be using a lead that is to heavy for the clip system. What weight lead are you using? i use 1.5lb or 2lb and it works well for me.

  • I think you ment 1.5 or 2 oz,and im using a small lead.thanks for watching

  • yer hope......hate loseing leads, rigs, and FISH....never something worst than loseing rigs and leads then get a run and lose it.........what you doing nextweek night, day, week

  • hopefully a 48 hours session,I like a long session ,give you more chance for action

  • nice blog mate. ;)

  • maybe you should tie your rigs better, also it safer for the lead to come off when you get a bite because it safer for the fish and less likely to get snagged

  • the idea of the korda lead ejection systmes with the lead clips is too loss the lead, irts designed as a safety rig for the fish so they can't get snagged, so with that system you are most likely to loss leads, but nt sure why ur losing them on the cast????

  • Thanks mate hopefully next week will be more successful.
