My wife & I listened to your version and reckon it's brilliant. So we decide we'll tell you so, but are not members...so we click, verify, click some more and then finally, we are signed up and can tell you that your cover of Shiver is excellent. Top version all round...nice subtle backing vocals and original lead vocal. So good, that we are so impressed, you got an avid youtube watcher to finally take the trouble to sign up - well done guys and thanks for sharing it!!!

The kind of song a 16 year old writes... But since it was Rownland who wrote it, that changes it all. Thanks guys, for turning this song into a Backstreet Boys meets Coldplay song.

I have the original Screaming Jets single for Shivers and it is credited to Rolland Howard as the writer. I looked him up and he is indeed from the Young Charlatans. He later joined The Boys Next Door with Nick Cave and they also recorded the song.
I like the Screaming Jets two versions best so far but then again they are where I heard it first.

Nice...but how about sing it as they wrote it!! The words.."ill at ease" say it with more emotion.
I dunno if you realise but this is actually a Nick Cave song from his first band 'Boys Next Door' .. Screaming Jets covered it.
Decent cover. 2 chord songs are fun.
