This is so well directed. It was obvious that Fincher directed it before I even saw his name on it.

@uwacaws I will proudly stand up for a cure for cancer because I 100% believe it will happen!
-
@Nan1961 You may be right that the chemo companies do not want there to be a cure for cancer. 20 years ago I would have said that they have nothing to fear even if a cure was found. In the days of the internet, if a cure is found, everyone will know about it quickly and those chemo companies will either have to support the cure or shut down.

@JudyRMuse wow... i hope you are okay! i will pray from you Judy!

I had cancer and I donate directly to the research facilty that is working 24/7 to find a cure for my particular type of cancer. No need to donate to a group of celebrities and then wonder how they are distributing the money. I donate directly to the scientists themselves.
-
@Nan1961 as much as i think you're right about how people can barely pay their mortgages and medical bills. everyone has a chance of developing cancer, and every donation counts. not everyone is as petty as you to not want to donate. i'm 16 and have had cancer twice, my family can barely pay their bills yet they donate each and every year. and celebrities, you don't think they donate? they do. and more than you would think.
-
@Nan1961 funny cause those are the same people bending over backwards to help both children and adults get the help they need. they cant save EVERYONE but they CAN HELP. and they do. research before you rant.

You people shouldn't comment here. My son (age 10) has CML. Before Dr. Druker & the development of Gleevec with the help of Norvartis, his life expectancy was 3 to 5 years. His life saving meds were developed in a lab with pharmaceutical co's help. Targeted gene therapy will not only cure my son's CML but all cancers eventually. So don't waste your energy on the keyboard here with lousy, idiotic, & ill informed comments. You don't know what you're writing about.

There is something really annoying about a fundraiser with multi-million dollar-making celebs begging the common poor folk to send in money. Most of us can barely pay our mortages and medical bills!! Have they all dipped into their OWN pockets?? Where is Oprah and her billions? Where is Tom Cruise and his millions???
How 'bout President Bush, can he spare some cash??
