Robert Waldmire, a legendary artist who travelled for years along Route 66 is dying of cancer. After he dies, his bus is headed for the Route 66 Museum for permanent exhibition.
j ai eu la chance de rencontrer Bob a l époque ou il vivait sur la route 66 dans l arizona assurément LA rencontre de ce voyage pourtant mémorable.RIP Bob et merci
Thank you David and Peggy for putting this video together for Bob. He was so special to me and all who knew him.
Thanks for showing us all the inside of School Bus. No surprise it's just like the VW Bus only more, decor wise. It was good seeing Bob one last time. I was all grins as I recalled some of the things he was talking about... then when he played "Cheerio" at the end... the tears came on hard and I realized I wouldn't be seeing him in this giant parking lot any more.
Hello Bim, Sid Coleman here. I just found out about Bob. I saw him last in early September of this year 2009. We talked about living off the land, as we did often, and when we do, your name always popped up. I would say to Bob, "I wonder how that guy who lived in the big panel/delivery truck on the Rio Grande is doin?"
I am sorry for our loss. Bob was the real deal and he is missed in my house too.
