@BlackTrinityWolves I know.... I just made my explanation shorter. Technically, it was Kira, Hinamori and Renji's training session and Hisagi was one of the instructors for them and their class. Thus the attack from the hollows killing the other two instructors and giving Hisagi the scar and the rest is what you said..... Plus I think they said that the academy only goes up to four years, I'm not quite sure.

@binikulagirl Yeah they do say during the Soul Society arc. He got them when he was in the academy when the hollows attacked during a training session, Renji, Kira and Hinamori were in.
