  • Have much trouble with shelling in the snapping rolls? I never really got to observe on ours or the neighbors if the rotating bar in it caused trouble or not?

  • Depends on moisture content. Not so much if it's a little wet. I can adjust by adding or removing the snapping roll lugs or by moving the snapping rolls closer or farther apart. If I remove lugs, I start at the front leaving the rear ones to make sure trash doesn't plug the rolls.

  • I meant the rotating bar above the snapping rolls that is supposed to help in snapping ears off the corn.

  • Never any trouble with it, it just does it's thing. Keep arms & legs out of there.

  • wow i bought 2 wood bros pickers and have 225 invested in both and i use them every year

  • I sold the tractor, still have the picker, paid $100 for it

  • corn looks a little green

  • I run a 1209 john deere haybine with my 1957 WD45 put a rebuilt motor in and runs great and works great w/plenty of power.
