@pocketocrisps See thats why there is no point. You havent read the reason behind what Jesus says. You are bringing up ONE scripture against another without reading the fine lines. That verse means that He will destroy those kings, his enemies. Those who do not acknowledge Him as King and will recreate the earth. Get it. And that Deuteronomy scripture implies that he STOPS commiting adultery. You are too closed minded to think that GOD is all about compassion.

There are good messages and awful ones in that book. The key is to be compassionate, and not use it to justify selfish and detestable behavior.

@gcab1000 Humane: characterized by kindness, mercy, or compassion. Humane is referring to the oppressor, not the victim. A dominant figure may have compassion, but not a victim.

The Bible also tells us that consuming shrimp and figs are abominable acts.

I've given plenty of facts about how animal agriculture wastes resources and pollutes the environment in my comments. Where are yours to justify meat?
