  • I wonder if this bike will have condensation in its headlights like my 1198 s did . And ducati refused to warrant saying it was a common problem with the bikes. You pay a lot of money for these bikes and thats the crap you get. Bolts missing the day i rode it home and the story goes on and on. JAP bikes any day.

  • @TheWhiteheff maybe i don´t like very much ducatis a prefer a MV agusta F4 or japas bikes

  • Personally. I like to have the passenger option. I also like the looks of the double shot gun cans tucked under the seat. I'd also request a ride height adjust, that doesn't go from high, to space. This isn't a dirt bike, you shouldn't have to tip toe when you get on it. If you're > 6ft with a 32 + inseam good for you.

  • @bonvivant55 bro this bike is vary hard to passenger nakeds bikes is better for girls

  • Hey what song is that Rsscoyote?

  • yes, you found google images, good job.

  • @rsscoyote yeah you're basically paying for the name. i mean you get all of those cool features, but its not much better than jap bikes.

  • Wild thing...I think I looooooove you....;o)

  • Ducatis are nice art installations. All show no go.

  • Still a beautiful motorcycle for wealthy buyers who wish to own the latest Ducati creation, which should not be confused with riders who buy bikes and do their own mods, ride the hell out of them, pack on miles, and are more concerned with maximum on the road enjoyment, instead of the latest piece of carbon to add on and keeping their heated garage posession blemish free and under 3,000 miles for life.

  • @TheWhiteheff you can also try opening the headlight cover behind the fairing to 'air' the headlamp but you have to leave em open overnight, keep an eye on your regulator as its positioned in the most ridiculous place- behind the exhaust headers.

  • @TheWhiteheff electrical problems are a nightmare. The gauges, rectifier, fuses and DTC all act up on their own.As for the Multistrada1200 the Ohlins ECU does give up occasionally and it;s a bomb to replace when there;s no warranty. The early batch of Hypers with Marzocchi forks had leak issue and promptly replaced with Showa's.The Desmo..well it;s just eye candy. Not worth thrashing up on the track and a jap is much suited for track days for the budget.

  • @7540tong Yes , after buying the bike and having the condensation problem i was told about drilling 2 small holes in the shell . The dealer from who i bought the bike would not fix the problem (cause ducati warranty does not cover) and was told i could void the warranty(2 years)if i tampered with it myself . This was just the first headache.Electrical problems was another. The bike was in the shop more than my garage. I had mates telling me not to buy one , i wish i listened to them..

  • @TheWhiteheff

    You don't have Ducati Mr.Trololo.

  • @TheWhiteheff there is a tiny cure for the headlights. drill two tiny holes under the shell.wont be visible.I know how you feel.i had the same frustrations explaining the same to customers.
