This is the track 4 from the Legendary Album "Lonely is an Eyesore" a compilation of different artist put together by the Record Label 4AD. The Video is from another version of Fish that is why is out of sync. I added lyrics and a Fish at the end.

  • This marvellous piece of music haunts my teenage years...I think it´s really an unic event in the history of western music (ok people laugh) it has elements in her that are absolutly brilliant ... Fantastic stuff!!!

  • @manueltava I know what you mean, this song could be among my top 10 favorite of all time. And I have heard a lot of songs of almost every genre there is.

  • Thanks for posting this, you've made my day. Throwing Muses were one of my favorites back in the "olden days," and Lonely is an Eyesore was an amazingly good record. It's incredible how well it has stood up to the passage of time.

  • @seattlefloyd You are welcome. "Lonely is an Eyesore" is a Clasic. I also have Hot Doggie by Colourbox, if you like that one.

  • looking quite some time for this vid - amazing song, WAY ahead of its time and the 4AD canon, plus the equally amazing lyrics. great job!

  • @nemrutthecat IMO I think Throwing Muses is one of the most underrated alternative bands. I have several CDs and all have great songs. This video came as a Bonus material in a 2CD Album called "in a dog house". I just swapped the song for the one from the Lonely is an Eyesore CD. I'm glad you enjoyed. =)

  • ahhhhh, lovely, airy, moving. love it!

  • this was inspired from a bipolar disorder?

  • @mangin23 , They were definitely not happy with Warner after 4AD.

  • I still say that, if Salvadore Dali had a band, it would have sounded like this.

  • Haunting.

  • one of my favourite songs of all time. It is simply flawless.

  • It's as fresh as it was when it first came out. This monster has been sneaking onto my playlists for decades now. Yet another fun Boston band.

    "The feeling describes itself."

  • their early stuff was very intense and experimental. they evolved a lot over the years. i liked all their phases.
