This song was written by them due to the Viet Nam war way back and when it came out, in the USA it would not be played it on the radio because it was against the war. This song was not heard on US radio for many years and so many US friends of me had never heard of it. Too bad.. it was one of the best songs they ever made..

This song is a lovely masterpiece from my favorite album from these two great musicians! It was Dowdy Ferry Road from 1977! This album is beyong beautiful, and is a must-have for all fans! Rats, they cut into the song! Sincerely, BobbyK

@mrsjir No need to apologize for the ignorant ones. Thanks so much for the post. Dan Seals was an amazing artist who left us way to early. I grew up in the seventies and his music is something I will cherish until my dying day, and this one of my favorites. Thanks again!
