I was able to hit enter on the previous screen but enter won't work on this screen to continue. I've tried various keyboard commands. I'm trying on an HP Pavillion DV4-1114nr

  • Your computer is not compatible with Rebel EFI... Try reading their WIKI before you ask for help...

  • @mikeyg6754 That information was not available when I made this video. Detailed compatibility was not out 9 months ago, it was brand new and being tested. Try to look at all the information before you criticize.

  • Yeah I tried enter, tab, and all kinds of other key commands.

  • Try using tab then the spacebar after a light blue ring shows up around the continue button.

  • use USB mouse, or you can install USBFix(ps2) to make ur touch pad work :)

i got it work on my PC and alienware M15x :)

  • At least Empire EFI allows me to use an IDE optical drive which rebel efi won't allow. SATA optical drives are shit as well as ide. Just as slow.

  • This happened to me. I had to take out my mouse and put it back in.

  • Very nice peterman323, good to see that this is being tested. Rebel EFI is in it's beta form at the moment so to speak(not fully compatible with drivers). Report this bug to Psystar and improve Rebel EFI :)

  • You misunderstood me, I agree with you 100%. I just hate when people point the finger at Psystar but not at others. I personally don't care if Psystar developed the code themselves or stole it, they certainly made it much easier for everyone to use as opposed to Hackinstosh.

  • How is it stealing from Apple? Apple didn't make Empire EFI or this. And if you're referring to the fact that this software allows people to "illegally" install Mac OS on non-Appleware, then I'd say that Apple is running a little monopoly anyway and that this is justified. If I pay for an operating system then I better damn expect it to run on a computer that meets the minimum requirements. Mac OS X is the only OS that doesn't do this. And no, "Being a Mac" doesn't qualify as a fair requirement.

  • Perhaps a mighty mouse would work? I dunno.
