that's interesting.
Seamus Connolly once told me that "Nora Crionna" meant 'Nora dear' or 'Nora of my heart' or some such, but i suppose anything is possible . . . I don't know anything much about the Irish language myself:-)

that is a real shame, i really want to start a group like that. However Im 18 and don't know anybody that can play any traditional instrument to anywhere near that standard

Sorry about that, we are from Spain, there're many trads musicians over here (Irish trad and much more...) so it's kind easy to find people to play with :) We're not together but we keep playing in our own each projects. I play breton music now, flute and pipes. I suppose we need to evolve...anyway, you're still very young and I'm sure you'll find the way of playing in a trad band :D
