@thethessaliah have these recent Kawamori interviews been translated somewhere? I'd love to read them if that's the case. Sayonara is fantastic film (saw it four times) and more interviews I get my hands on the better. :) dshudistab being song about Sheryl's relationship with Ranka is as far as I can tell just her own interprepation though. At least she presented it as such in her blog post. Not that it matters one way or another, really.

@MoonlitKaitou It's a concert, not an ending song. They have lines and talk to each other during it. Not an ending song like So Da Yo. It' a live song about her relationship with Ranka (according to May'n).

Kawamori said people didn't realize it was happening even if was watching it happened (the awakening) because they were upset/shocked about Alto's fate. She was stirring. The credits sealed the deal.

But I never really thought of it as a hint, I just thought of it more as an ending song- but if she is awake then that makes me happy because for Sheryl to just stay in a coma is a sad thought, considering I liked her movie character version.

@thethessaliah As far as as I know it's not confirmed at the end of the movie that Sheryl awakes, all Kawamori said was to pay close attention to the credits and from there it was up to the viewers imagination on what happens from there, but my knowledge might be wrong ^^'

I'm definitly not a fan of them, so I don't pay attention to the unofficial stuff xD - but this Macross has moved on and now I wait until the next Macross comes out. =3
