Were they based off Gizmo's evil brotheren? In the book on gremlins it says that only one in several tens of thousands is a good one.
And as for Furbies, I liked the vid on "Is It A Good Idea To Microwave This" THAT'S the best use I ever saw a furbie used for. Them things are CREEPY! My niece had one.
