The magoofs may have sold the kings to hansen, but its up to the BOG to approve the sale. The ultimate support from the fans, Burkle/Mastrov combo, and arena deal in place, denying them would be far worse than the Seattle situation...unprecidented.

So the NBA owners decided they could get more money in OK than in Seattle? Sac has sold out 19 seasons in 27 yrs & has 2 of the top 5 sellout streaks in NBA history. 10 NBA markets are smaller than Sac.

Sac has done everything the NBA asked. We've had a buyer ready for 2 yrs that the Maloofs refused to talk to. We have an appvd arena deal still on the table.

The Maloofs screwed Sac by secretly doing a deal with Hansen without ever giving Sac chance. At least the NBA will give us that chance.

Furthermore, it's not a matter of the BOG denying anyone, it is a matter of them approving the sale. This is not a bidding war, there is no counteroffer, the sale has been made, the papers have been filed. The BOG is in place to APPROVE/DENY the sale, not deny a counteroffer.

The BOG doesn't care about support and you couldn't even sell out your "Here We Buy" night when you even had massive amounts of ticket deals. The owners won't be fooled by that. They're in it to make money and they can make more in Seattle. We went through the same thing, you'll understand once it happens.
