hello!

i loved my 1986 jetta, one of the first "secrets" i found out was that exact problem !

on the drivers side firewall, next to the brake booser is a little electrical box thingy theres a hole about the size of a pencil in that box, in that hole is a reset switch ..pushing a pencil in that hole will seset the light for another 30,000 miles.. i loved my 86 jetta, i had it long enough to have to do that twice ,, ..

Hi there, I also own an86 Jetta. I love it. there is a problem with it also, The OXS light stays on all the time do you think you can tell me what that light is for. -max

can you help me?i´ve got a 90 Jetta 1.6 automatik...when i start it then the motor begins to fall down and the whole car beginns to swing[but it never got off] and then suddenly it walks normally,as twenn there has been no problem...it does it in unregularlly times...i dont know what it is!sorry for my english i´m a german...
