As it turns out the neocon strangle hold on the GOP is weakening in spite of their considerable power over the media. @nenaluvv What Ron Paul preaches seems like libertarianism at face value but let's be sensible here. The kind of society Libertarians envision will only stay that way a short time before devolving into feudalism. No govt regulation means that every other American businessman will be a potential J. P. Morgan(robber baron). We have govt regulations over private power because people lived Ron Paul's vision in the late 19th century and they rejected it decisively.
