@GaryECampbell She'll be back, making her debut at the 2012 great steamboat race!

If the Great American Steamboat company would have bought the Delta Queen, I would have booked a cruise tomorrow. I have no interest in the modern propeller driven American Queen and would assume that they scrap her and use the money toward the Delta Queen.

@GaryECampbell Hello again Gary, yes I agree! The Delta Queen is great, I really miss that boat. I hope if this new company has a successful season in 2012, they will look into adding the Delta Queen to their fleet. The DQ is still for sale I think at $4.75 million. You know the boat would book up quick with all of the loyal steamboat fans wanting to see her return.

@GaryECampbell Nice video Gary. There is some good news, the American Queen is actually in great shape. Go to google and type in "Great American Steamboat Company". As of right now, she may be cruising soon! :) She is a true steamboat, with a steam engine, steam calliope, and steam whistle. Maybe when she makes it back up to Moundsville, you can take another vid? :)
