As a lover and owner of dobermans all I can say to this video is....HOW BLOODY ADORABLE IS SHE? Makes me want to go out and get another puppy lol.

Dobies are a great breed. My husband originally got our black and tan male for me as a companion and protector, he worked nights and out of town. When our male was 2.5 I got him our red and tan female. Lessons we have learned.. if you want to crop the ears get them done no later than 12 weeks, we didnt get the male until he was 12 weeks and couldnt get them done till 15 weeks and after two procedures one will not stand, the same vet did the females at 10 weeks and they are perfect.

as you can see from my post we had her only two days (we brought her home the night before) She is a happy healthy 80 lb 2 year old now!! The individual we got her from did not know what they were doing, she was wormy when we got her and at 7 weeks had been off moms milk for almost 2 weeks.. not the best decision on their behalf!

As in general with most dogs, if you take them to a public park, if you have worked with them and trained then as needed, they will do much better if you allow them off the leash as soon as you enter the gated area, they are less territorial. Prob TMI, if you have any specifics just ask, there is also a lady on here that breeds dobies and has like 5 or 6 adults all in the house and she provided me with some help in times of need.

Our black/tan sheds soo much! The vet has advised he is healthy and no matter what we supplement, feed, no matter how much we brush or what we do the shedding doesnt stop. Our red/tan sheds her winter coat thats really it!! They need lots of training, attention and love at first, more than a normal puppy, you almost have to build them. They have alot of energy and walks have been the best training and exercise for them, I walk them both about two miles atleast every other day.
