http://goo.gl/UZlTl In the 27 years I've been cursing cold sores, I've never found anything that works better for cold sores than than this cold sore zapper thing(http://goo.gl/UZlTl). I've used it on a bunch of cold sores and i promise it works. Man, I hate cold Sores. Don't know how I got the cold sore virus but I really wish I didn't get it. damn herpes.

I have used abreva before and my personal opinion is that it does nothing... I do know 1 or 2 people that like it. I guess some stuff works for some people while other stuff is very ineffective.

Cold sores are nature's way of stopping people from having sex. Can't kiss your partner anywhere. Plus, any pressure on the thing makes it painful for you. I hate these things. Ugh.

@klacfyde Cold sores aka herpes simplex 1 is not an STD in a typical sense (you're thinking of simplex 2) Most people have contracted it as a child from being kissed by an infected grown up. Herpes simplex 1 is common, about 80% of the human population has it. You could have herpes simplex 1 and not even know it, because not everybody has an outbreak. Most people with herpes simplex 1 haven't done anything irresponsible or deviant to deserve catching it, it's just there.

I get cold sores like 5 to 6 times a year. I have it BAD. I have tried numerous remedies and had doctor prescribed stuff to help me get rid of them but nothing works. i think that i am going to try this.
