  • By1git1: I was the one who filmed this, a portion of at least two hours of video I recorded. It was filmed in Anchorage, AK, and another fantastic guitar player, Ron Wise, also played with Buster. The man who walks across the screen is a mandolin player who sat in with them. This was an impromptu gig, thus no fancy stage. I recently heard that Buster passed away - how very sad. He will be missed. I don't know how you got this video clip, but thanks for posting it as a remembrance of Buster.

  • OMG I didnt know that he past. I actually got this via search for wipe out on the net and my computer has crashed since then and it is not on my hard drive anymore so I hope that they dont take it off because it will be gone.

  • Buster B is the greatest!

  • LOVE THIS DUDE!!

  • He now takes rank with the greatest of the great ones who left us too soon, unjustly unrecognized, whose names are spoken in whispered reverence by those who really know. Lenny Breau. Shawn Lane. Buster B Jones. Players whose genius was so far beyond comprehension, they had little place in a Brittney Spears culture... but when the final tally is taken and it's all said and done, we will look back on all the rest of them and laugh at those who we don't forget. For these rare few, we will cry.

  • I first found Buster's music a few weeks ago, when i was looking for godin multiac players. when i heard Buster's playing my jaw dropped. Finding out he passed away was very saddening. Thanks to everyone who has uploaded these videos and shared their experiences of knowing this man, not only as a great guitar player, but also as Buster the human being. i only wish i had the chance to see him play when he was alive. He won't be forgotten

  • @carvinrednine thats pretty cool, I wish i had a chance to see him, i became a fan about 4 months before he died, its a shame he had to go

  • I knew Buster well. The tendons in his left hand for his middle, ring and little fingers were replaced by the equivalent of nylon fishing line (I'm not kidding). He loved showing it to people. The operation was performed by a hand surgeon in Virginia who was a guitarist and a big fan of Buster's. Basically, Buster wore out the tendons by playing guitar so much.

  • Amazing, really great.!

  • Great pickin'. RIP Buster B.
