As the use of ultra high strength steel, tubular steel and hydro formed parts becomes more mainstream, traditional laser machines may not be the best solution to cutting shapes and holes in parts.
The answer? Robotic laser systems that offer the flexibility of industrial robots with lower capital costs and smaller footprint than traditional laser machining centers. But motion control & path accuracy of the robot is critical for success.
ABB's innovative robot software, rigid arm design, and Iterative Learning Control provides the most accurate path creation of any robot in the industry. It also has the fastest acceleration and deceleration, which translates to shorter cycle times and increased production. State-of-the-art precision features include: Iterative Learning Control (ILC), Automatic Friction Compensation, Dynamic Motion Model, TrueMove™ and QuickMove™ software. Integration with ABB's RobotStudio™ off-line programming software also means fast, accurate programming for laser processing applications.

  • ABB Robotics..Thanks for the reply. Amazing laser cutting along with incredible robotics =)

  • Sencillamente perfecto. Sin rebabas ni imperfecciones. La producción prima y se procura rapidez y precisión.

  • How many mw's is this laser?

  • That almost looks silly, cause it looks so easy

  • that would take a very long time for one person to complete such a task, but the one person deserving credit is the person who created that robot.

  • amazing

  • how long does the laser last for?
