  • How graceful is it to call everyone who preaches purity as "legalists", this guy is an antinomian who denies ANY concept of holiness, his ideas are gnostic in origin I think.

  • @tabonefamily Submitting to God is not a form of legalism, it is a form of love and obedience.

  • Where did I hear that Abraham Lincoln had a list of character development goals-Things he would STOP DOING, which he wrote for himself, and systematically spent, I think, one month trying to impliment ea. one...He said it was an utter failure because sin bulged out elsewhere whenever he controlled a given behavior, nevertheless he said HE WAS GLAD HE TRIED. Maybe this is a life stage, and explains the OLDEST leaving first when Christ said, "let sinless among you cast first stone" at adulteress

  • @blueskunk12 Sure am or I would not have passed it on.

  • @hvacrjohn

I ask you to follow your own advice.

  • Lie 1# Don't believe everything this guy tells you.

CHECK THE BIBLE to see if it is so.

  • But then He says in His Word we are to Submit ourselves to God. Resist the Devil and he will flee from you. If I submit to God am I being legalistic. I guess for me so far I am getting confused with what you mean by legalistic. I agree that man has implemented rules to satisfy the sense of power of people. But if I submit myself to the Word of God and He convicts me of sin, what do I do with that. Am I being legalistic in obeying God's Word? Can yo help me with this please. thanks!

  • Hey Steve, I am trying to understand where you are coming from. I dont know if I agree with everything you have said, however I intend to go though evrything to get a better understanding of what you are saying. With this particular lesson, I think you, and I emphasize, I think that you are confusing here the issue of justification and maturity. When you say that we are godly when we believe I agree with that because that is our position in Christ. God views us blameless.

  • Good video man,

  • wonderful preaching, thank you :), perhaps Openairpreacher and other idiots like him should be forced to watch vids like this
