Song by Hannah Fury from the album 'Soul Poison'.
Lyrics:
What if the sky in Idaho is black and dark?
What if the sun in Idaho doesn't set at all?
And what if I loved you with all of my heart?
And what if my love wasn't good enough?
What if the sky in Idaho is filled with clouds?
What if the sun in Idaho has burned out?
There'd be miles and miles behind us
We'd look back at the miles and miles we'd come
Don't tell me all those miles were for nothing
Don't tell me all of those miles were for nothing
What if the sky in Idaho is black and dark?
What if the sun in Idaho doesn't set at all?
And what if I loved you with all of my heart?
And what if my love wasn't good enough?
There'd be miles and miles behind us
We'd look back at the miles and miles we'd come
Don't tell me all those miles were for nothing
Don't tell me all of those miles were for nothing
With your arms around me, I think I can do this
With your help, I think that I can do this
Help me do this
Help me help you do this
Tell me all those miles were for something
Don't tell me all of those miles were for nothing?
They weren't. Hannah
Helluva song this. Goosepimple factor 10 on a scale of 10.. It would be 11 if only you would get rid of those knife sharpenening 'moments' at 0.54, 1.12, 1.45, 2.02, 2,52, 3.04, 3.07 3.15, 3.27 and 3.40 Hannah. PLEASE? I BEG YOU.
The vocal section from from 2.55 - 3.30 where she doubles up on the vocals is - on the same scale - actually 12. It's incredible.

What a gorgeous bit of introductory piano (up to 0.20) by Hannah. I also love bits from 1.15 -1.45, 2.23 - 3.13.and from 3.34 - end. But there is something going on between 0.52 to 1.14, 1.45 to 2.23 and 313 to 3.34 that I cant get hold off - it sounds as if two tracks are playing at once - which stops you from appreciating the rest. If those sections were 'cleaned up' this would be a truly impressive song. But it's impossible to make a final judgement in its present form (Work in progress).
