One of the finest punk songs ever written. Awesome.

@TheHendonKissArmy I had finished form 4 in the summer of 78, when this was a hit, or year 10 as they call it these days ! .Great to be 15 with such great music but I loved Punk like this / Stranglers / TRB as well as The Bee Gees & ABBA. Just a great time for music generally oh, and Blondie, Boomtown Rats & G Rafferty's 'Baker Street'. In August I remember 'Forever Autumn' by Justin Hayward, Renaissance with 'Northern Lights' & 'Jilted John' all on Top Of The Pops. Kate Bush great that year too

Amazing! Surpreendente, espetacular, eterno. Existem aqueles que querem ser e aqueles que são. Talento nato para a arte da música. Hong Kong garden, hanging garden.
Wow this is rare. Nice one, mate. Loved 'em when Morris and McKay were there. Saw 'em on the Join Hands tour in 1979. Awesome!!

Thanks! These John Peel Sessions are taken from the "At The BBC" boxset.
You saw the Banshees back in 1979! Must've been awesome! I'm getting overly jealous....
