  • Wow this is rare. Nice one, mate. Loved 'em when Morris and McKay were there. Saw 'em on the Join Hands tour in 1979. Awesome!!

  • Thanks! These John Peel Sessions are taken from the "At The BBC" boxset.

You saw the Banshees back in 1979! Must've been awesome! I'm getting overly jealous....

  • One of the finest punk songs ever written. Awesome.

  • @TheHendonKissArmy I had finished form 4 in the summer of 78, when this was a hit, or year 10 as they call it these days ! .Great to be 15 with such great music but I loved Punk like this / Stranglers / TRB as well as The Bee Gees & ABBA. Just a great time for music generally oh, and Blondie, Boomtown Rats & G Rafferty's 'Baker Street'. In August I remember 'Forever Autumn' by Justin Hayward, Renaissance with 'Northern Lights' & 'Jilted John' all on Top Of The Pops. Kate Bush great that year too
