Alright people, hate me all you want if you disagree. Sorry I kept forgetting what I was going to say, I was feeling kinda bad all day (physically) so i wan't completely there. im kind of in between with the whole twilight:love it or hate it controversy.many of the points u brought up r very good points 2 make,but its easy 2 tel tht u havnt studied the topic.i dont believe the book ws terrible,unorigional perhaps,but all in all it was a good book.saying that,i also enjoy the anne rice books.and w/ what u wer saying about the vampires having 2 b hot,tht was explained in the book as being a hunting trait.everything about them invites u in, including thier looks

but the truly pathetic part about that is they didnt even kill the humans, well at least in Bella and Edwards case. so really, i still dont see the point in that. to me, its just another way of making preteens and teenage girls go crazy and attract a larger fanbase.

in Edward and Bella's case, only the Cullen clan doesn't kill the humans. they feed on animals because they don't want to be monsters. the other vampires however, kill plenty of humans. the volturie for example have humans brought to them so they can feed. massive tours of humans just to feed those who remain within the walls if their city.

well as far as the cullens go, it just makes them even more of pussies. seriously. i cant get past the sparkling, and they dont even kill humans? like what is that? plus theyre the most important of any of those vampires in the series, so what the other ones do arent as big of a focus. its ruined everything that was good about vampires.

i don't care for buffyand the reason is they try to make everyone seem so obviously evil but still i would rather watch buffy than twilight

i like the fact she is killing vampires and is in love with one ironic but its the small things about the show that get to me

They say that the reader is supposed to imagine themselves as Bella, which is why she's so bland. A lot of people also drew a connection between Bella and the writer, Stephannie Meyer.

I like the point you made about how Twilight is easy to read. I think this not only attracts the younger crowd but also the older crowd. I have ran into my fair share of adults who have enjoyed the series.

You get the fans who are only in it for the hot characters.

Also, I'm a fan of the Buffy series. =D
