The Black Canyon of the Gunnison, an impressive 2000+ ft deep canyon in Colorado carved for the most part through solid granite!
21st Aug 2008 Replaced pan servo gears while waiting for shop to open. When guy rolled up he said, not radiator, but the condenser for AC. Prolly not a problem as long as don't run AC. I had doubts as previously when the AC seized it took the belt that ran the power steering. Onto Black Canyon of the Gunnison, very impressive, but wind was up. Further down the canyon I found the wind less and got in an excellent flight (maybe the highest so far ~8000 ft!). Limped the car over towards Colorado Springs, stopped at Gunnison reservoir to wash. Water a little on the green side, but still pretty clear! VERY windy... maybe 1ft waves! Got to Colorado Springs at sunset, found a starbux and uploaded a movie. Kipped night in supermarket car lot.

The Black Canyon is awesome! Totally different in person just like the Grand Canyon. I've seen both and both are impressive in unique ways. If you can see them both!

I wouldn't call it stupid.. But only because I don't think he's really worried about any of his dickhead highschool friends teasing to push him off the ledge or anything.
But yeah, I know what you mean.. I hate heights too and I was cringing everytime he held the camera over edge... lol
