A short film featured at the 2011 exhibition: "Kampen om Kunsten - A Struggle of Arts". The exhibition is shown both at Ordrupgaard and Faaborg Art
Museum, and tells the story about the friendly rivalry between two art collectors and entrepreneurs, Mads Rasmussen and Wilhelm Hansen. Central to the story is also the "peasant-painter struggle", a continued debate that ran in the Danish newspaper "Politiken" in 1907. It was a disagreement between "isms": - realism versus symbolism.
