  • YAAAAY we have the same piano:)

  • @squishymywthi not anymore :( I sold it last week haha. To replace it I got an axiom pro 61- pretty sweet

  • @TheNaekid ahaaaa, not too shabby:)

how do you like it compared to the good old yamaha?:P

  • @squishymywthi It's a MIDI controller so it has no on-board sounds, it just "controls" other synths or programs. I am running Logic now, so I use the controller to control the instruments in the software and make recordings. The Axiom Pro is cool because it automatically maps its knobs and faders to parameters in the software.

The yamaha served its purpose but it's sounds are just O.K. and I wanted super quality sounds.

    Hey !

I'm thinking of buying a piano and I like the sound of your old one. Looks like it's a Yamaha, but could you please tell me its entire name (and price?)

    I'd really appreciate it ! Thanks =).

  • @108BlackSwan Sure - it's a Yamaha P-80. As for the price, It's pretty old so it could go for anywhere from 200 - 500 dollars depending on where you get it and how old it is. Definitely if you can, try it out before you buy it to make sure it's what you want.

    Thanks for answering =).

I'm actually looking for a product wich gives me the closest sound to a real piano, to put it simply, without having to pay too much(200$-400$). Besides, I'm a beginner so I probably won't need the additionnal options and buttons.

  • I liked this tutorial by the way!

  • Nice work :)
