Police the Police

Who: Dover Township, NJ Police Officer
What: Driving erratically, drifting on the shoulder, and tailgating everyone in his way.
When: Saturday 10/20/07 12:20 PM
Where: NJ Turnpike, near exit 8A (and no where near Dover Township)
Why: Several possible explanations. Most probable is the cop is drunk on power, fueled by feelings of being above the law, and in a desperate hurry to get home and beat his wife.

In the very end of the clip, you see the cop turn on his lights. This was not to pull the car over, but to get him out of his way. He immediately turns them off and speeds off to the next car ahead and continues to tailgate.

I know we are a million miles from perfect in the uk as far as policing goes but over here we get the impression that in the usa a lawmans second cousin twice removed can get a job as a deputy.Whatever training you have over there needs to concentrate on removing testosterone and adding thought before action.
