  • hey painkiller was their comeback album after being separated for so long they came back t write it. shit man i love the change, i mean if bands never changed they would die in a few years out like most bands in the genre. i.e. heathen & deathangel.

  • @sgtBONGwater sometimes a change is good...but when godlike bands phone it in... it hurts my ears..

  • this is a video series that most new metal fans need to see. no possessed wtf mate

  • it was in an episode but it was taken down by the man himself!@

  • I would say that the progression of "rock and roll" or "real metal" ended in like '94, when Old-school Death Metal lost the small bit of polularity it had. Today the the only good stuff is Power Metal, Melodeath (Finland and early Sweden and "the Thrash Ressurrection) - but that's ofc the underground stuff, not good bands gone commercial and lame like In Flames, DragonForce and Children of Bodom.

Although, none of that stuff can beat 80s Thrash and early 90s Death -stay true, kill posers-

  • Deathrow

You guys better know who they are if u wanna calll urself a thrash fan

  • Where's Megadeth?

  • now THESE are riffs!!!

every metal band now has the same BFMV riffs

  • 1:06 Angel of Death

  • @voltronsky well thats your opinion my opinion is that painkiller is still a great album even if they were burnt out

  • @MAGGOTSOlDIER626 not much difference? try solid and 'classic' songwriting at it's finest, just listen to Screaming for Vengeance again and pay attention to such tracks like "Bloodstone" "Fever" "Devil's Child" plus the 'speed' inclined tracks like "Riding On The Wind"& "Electric Eye". Miles above anything on the bland 'speed for speed's sake' bore fest that is PAINKILLER. Priest was burnt-out by then and very little to offer except gimmicks.

  • @voltronsky they may have tried to stay relevant but all bands eventually incorporate more elements into their music, such as preist they were heavy metal, then developed into speed metal there wasnt much a difference on painkiller than on screaming for vengeance except speed

  • so riff foda to nem ai se tem alguns minimos erros tchnical tharsh old school

  • great vid i like the comments added
