This excerpt is from the third film of Carlos Saura's flamenco trilogy (1986), set to Manuel de Falla's El amor brujo.
The unlucky lovers, Carmelo (Antonio Gades) and Candela (Cristina Hoyos) have a reunion after Carmelo is released from jail for a murder he didn't commit. Unfortunately, Candela is still haunted by the ghost of her dead husband.

Eine solche Verwandlung eines Gesichts habe ich selber erlebt - zwar beim Aufwachen zwischen Traum und Wirklichkeit, aber das gibt es wirklich. ...und kann alles verändern ...

I have seen few scenes more beautifully choreographed in cinema than this one. The flow of the clothing, the flow of the dancers, all merging as one with the airiness, the intensity and chemistry between two of the best dancers, Antonio Gades and Cristina Hoyos. Carlos Saura made his masterpieces and this film is one of them.
