Twinblade turbine on Delco pma long tail chassis.

Quick Evening test of own desiged-made 1.4Metre twinblade, only a very light 4-6mph on a converted 10si Delco G.M. Alternator with Neodymiums fitted giving a permanent magnetic rotor field (in centre of alternator) may go for larger magnets in near future .

Had it whistling /pretty fast a few times waiting for better daylight wind. You can't really see on the vid but the blades are about 10 inches wide at the root.

Did you rewind the alternator youself or buy it? Would love 2 know how to do this but can't find anything on the web.

@natedogg1026 Hi I bought it ready converted , It isn't really a do at home proposition, the coils need to be of thinner wire & Neodymium converted rotor (the central spinning part) if you look to the right there are videos Wind Blue is one but a few companies that supply them- coils-rotors to convert them. not as large output as a dedicated pmg China but good trickle charger for cabin etc, pmg's don't need such high rpm as they are not in such a small diameter package, have more magnets.Dave

What's a Delco? Is that a converted car alternator?

Delco Remy one type of Auto alternator, installed on mainly G.M. and Ford cars this is an older 1990's type off an Astra.

If you replace the central rotor coil with permanent Neodymum magnets can be used on wind-hydro's to make free electricity. Google permanent magnet alternator if interested.

Delco - Remy is a name brand of car alternator, wind blue uses them and replaced the shit stator and rotor with their own shit stator and PM rotor.
