That just means the Kyokushin master is a better fighter. It doesn't mean Kyokushin is a better style. There are no better styles, there are just better fighters.

you'll notice the kyokushin guy was going easy on the older masters out of respect, but it is obvious he could have beaten them all easily. naturally so, he has the bigger, stronger, tougher body. however every 1 of these arts shown here can be lethal, and it is possible they could also have beaten/killed him, but not in a friendly match where both sides purposely pull punches/kicks and avoid injuring the other.

Its funny, how the Korean language sounds Turkic. The martial art of Taekkyon is very unique and interesting.

@KidFonz1 it seems to me taekkyon has both motions. Taekkyon was used for fighting in the past, so maybe it's still useful. Do you practice taekkyon, meaning, r u talking from experience? I don't, that's why I ask.

Nope there are better styles kyokushinkai is better than WTF taekwondo.

They should bring an ITF guy, like barada, or hwang su il, in there.

There is an obvious size difference between the taekwondo guy, and the dong yi guy. That said most of the dong yi tumbling kicks seem like hail mary actions, they work if they work. If u miss, u r in a bad situation, it seems. The no better styles argument was just invented to avoid hurting people's feelings, it's just dumb

Taekkyon acurately practiced with good technique, then the real results are deadly. One of the most actually, the dance and grace is for the mental. complete relaxation. giving you quicker reflexes and a quicker mind. I call it the art of the dancing ninjas. and when the kick is performed correctly it is with the ball of the foot.

0:35 was awesome, truly lethal kicking. got to love the bajiquan form and it's applications. kyukushinkai is tough as usual, still amazing. the dongyi taekkyun practicioner also had nice deadly kicks though i prefer the south korean taekkyun because of the slightly more graceful movements. what i'm saying is that all of these arts benefit the practitioner in their own way, but if practiced with dedication and dicipline they all lead to the same result, fulfillment and serious fighting skills.

ssey2000, thanks for sharing the serie, excellent videos, I have learn a lot of Taekkyun, It looks a lot like Capoeira. And the best is that you can see how much they enjoy while doing it too, and the respect and friendship they have with different styles masters.

do not ignore korea.. korea is same with china. korea has 5,000 years history... korea is not under level and history than china. korea is more and same with china.. korea is not modern country. this country is old and past, historical country..
