Did you have the ignition on whilst you had the head lamp apart? If so do check the fuse box section under the seat. If this is not blown then turn the ignition on and light switch on. Then place fingers between the top of the tank frame and locate the main sealed wire bungle to headstock. Pull this side to side and see if this works. My bike did this on the front side light and had me baffled for some time. Let me know and good luck!

I had exactly the same bike for 18 years and love the sound and riding position of this cruiser. The mileage on mine when sold was 20,000 kph and started and ran well every time. I changed the oil and filter every year, so that mine didn't have the cam problem. I rebuilt this back in 1997 and have extensive knowledge as I encountered numerous problems. The hydraulic clutch was a pain to solve on rebuild.... I still love this bike and may buy her back after being renovated!

I have a bike almost evactly like this. While messing with the headlight, something happened and now there is no power??? I am guessing a fuse blew or something. Would you happen to have any idea what the deal is ?
