What an idiot!
Keep us up to date with what happens with this.
-
Urgh... "telling me what you can do and what you can't do".... Errr the only words the cyclist could get in between his ranting was "what garage?" and "no I did not". What a nitwit.

why would you be coming out of a garage lol you're on a bike
-
That was somebody clearly trying to teach you a lesson if ever I saw it. Probably for deigning to not join the queue at the back!
-
You also didn't 'pull in front' of him in the queue. There was a small silver people mover that was able to safely overtake in front of the Rover driver. MG. Meh, just a rover with a different badge, and few changes to parts and a bigger price tag.
-
Even if you did come from the garage, what else are you to do? Cycle in the opposite direction until you find the end of the queue? What an idiot. His explanation for the close pass proves it was intentionally dangerous to prove a point. A lesson from the big man in the car. So scary these people exist.
-
No idea what his problem is... you didn't even cut in front of him! He was another car away from you. He must have his target set on you the moment you joined the queue - TARGET LOCKED! ;P
That's where the camera come in use... all 100% proof in case if ever want to see what he has done! And making himself look silly too.
-
@SkrzypczykBass Yes, we all know that's how it goes, but so many of these drivers are just so unobservant. They never seem to realise that they aren't any faster than a bicycle.
-
@CyclingMikey They rarely do unless the road opens up ahead. I have a clip to edit out where a private taxi toots me for taking primary to overtake another rider. I then pretty much tail him for next 1/4 mile then get past him :-)
-
Just another jealous wanker in a cage with a grudge. Roadsafe him, get him banned and move on. Onto the next moron who deserves banning!
Just want to know,if he had not got out of his car & ranted at you, would you have reported him?
He was clearly wrong in how he drove.
Or would a sincere apology from him helped? Just curious.

@simplyroxyful I think that if it was the pass alone I would still have reported him, that was enough to warrant RoadSafing him, but had he stopped and apologised, then I don't really know.
If I thought that it had been a genuine apology, then I probably would have accepted that.

I think his route after the verbals must have been coincidence as he appears to drop a passenger off when you see him last so must have been on route to that place, it is natural to assume the worst after an incident like that where someone is overly aggressive for no good reason.
The pass plus the verbals deserve reporting.

@NastyLiar You are right, it does appear that he was going that way anyway, but after the pass and his rant, I did think that he was, maybe, following me.
It has been reported via Road Safe. I am just waiting for a response.
