This is a "Sathyagraha" has been continuing for 885 days before theCollectrate gate of Malappuram.
"Sathyagraha" is a kind of strike started or tested by Mahathma Gandhi especelly during the period of this struggle for Indian independence. But this "Sathyagraha"is only a prayer or 'The Sujood' for achieving a goal against Alcohol. Through this strike be want get reestablished sessions (232&447)Panchayatheeraj and Nagarapalika acts presented by the former prime minister late Rajeev Gandhi to the Indian public. This Sessions gives power to public to open or close down in their locality. But the Kerala Govt let by LDF on 24th March 1999 govt cancelled aforesaid sessions. Then onwords the 'Kerala Madya Nirodhana Samithi' conducted several "Sathyagraha" during several period.
This isthe final phase of the "Sathyagrha" that means we Sathyagrahees demand an answer from the Govt Yes or No.
This is the seen of 885th day of the "Sathyagraha". Mr.Iyyacheri Kunhikrishnan Master the General Secretary of 'Kerala Madya Nirodhana Samithi' is addressing Sathyagrahees who belonging ti the ISM.
