The completely renovated Canadian Museum of Nature was fully reopened on May 22, 2010. See the RBC Blue Water and Vale Earth galleries, special exhibitions and amazing specimens, including a blue whale!
Step inside new spaces in this 100-year-old "castle", beautifully refreshed after a five-year-long renovation project. Climb the stunning glass lantern tower. Enjoy dinosaurs, mammals and birds, too! Learn more at nature.ca.

  • I think it looks pretty cool, fusing Gothic architecture with modern design. I do, however, think that this video (and the narration) make the museum seem about as exciting as a trip to a box factory. Which is too bad, because it really is a great museum.

  • @caFexpo00 I agree it's like someone forgot their plastic tupperware on top of a multi-million dollar castle.

  • It looks to me as though they've stuck a large gray warehouse on top of a beautiful building. The rooftop storage space needs to be covered in stone.

It would really improve my view. . .
