the pillows comment: Manabe's nickname - PEE?

This is a clip of an interview taken with the pillows in 2008, when they visited America. It was hard for me to find this, but I searched the internet relentlessly for it. The interviewer asks the band about Manabe's strange nickname "PEE-chan". Where does it come from? The world may never know...

Also, Manabe's English is pretty good, huh? ^_^

it's the shortened version of "snoopy" or in japanese speak "SNUUPII"

and you get pii-chan, or piisuke. ^_^

(apparently some of his friends thought his face resembled snoopy)
