Quit harassing sick wildlife... this guy was sick and stressed, and you stressed him out more by poking and "exercising" him! It's good that you gave him to someone who could help him but you probably did a lot more damage! Next time keep the injured animal in a warm, dark, quiet place where they can rest and BE LEFT ALONE until you get help for them by an expert.

You know, it probably isn't legal for you to keep a raptor without a license--I know here (in the US) it isn't. So it's a bad idea to post this here unless you've obtained such a license.
