Sorry for the delay, I was in the final weeks of my school semester so I had a bunch of projects and tests. Only two more tutorials to go! This tutorial will cover how to display text with XNA, and what you can do to manipulate text. This tutorial is short and to the point. Next tutorial we cover distirbution.

  • Haha, to think I've been using PNG files all this time to create text, thanks for the tutorial.

  • The tutorial isn't 8 minutes and 50 seconds. It is between 2.30 and 7.00 which is 4 minutes and 30 seconds. Stop complaining about minutes and start thinking about all those hours you waste every day gaming.

  • Thanks for the tutorial

  • im surprised your keyboard isnt broken yet XD but thanks man

  • uh do you make the text transparent I know how to do it in C# without using the XNA Framework but I think they changed it for XNA I wanna be able to make text slowly appear then disappear

  • honestly, i LOVE you tutorials, however I'd like to see how you would go about creating "levels" kinda like mario type levels, how would I manage objects and placement for that? I'm new to C# and XNA, please help!

  • what if I want to use my own font? but other pc have not that font. Can I use font from content?

  • Thank you. Much understanding. Keep it up!

  • HA! its more complicated than you may initially think... but once you know how to do it its very simple
