The Arrows lead singer Alan Merrill's solo version of the Larry Williams classic song "Slow Down" which appeared on Merrill's 2002 album release Cupid Deranged.
Alan Merrill - Lead Vocals, guitars, and piano.
Jan Tilley - Harmony vocals
Dave Glover - Bass guitar
Pete Phipps - drums
All the above mentioned players appear in this slideshow.
About the players:
Jan Tilley is a superb guitarist and vocalist who has worked with the Ronnie Spector band, and founded The Rude Girls, one of New York's premier all girl groups.
Pete Phipps has played drums with and was a founding member of the UK chart topping Glitterband. Pete has also played with XTC and The Eurythmics.
The ubiquitous and supremely talented Dave Glover has played bass with Brian Connolly's Sweet, and also a latter incarnation of the legendary British band Slade.
Alan Merrill has been a founding member of the bands Vodka Collins, Runner, and The Arrows, and he has played guitar with bands Derringer and Meat Loaf. In fact, he recorded a verision of this song "Slow Down" singing lead vocals on the 1987 album "Meat Loaf Live At Wembley" (Arista) on the recording's rock n roll medley.
