MINUSTAH - Port-au-Prince, Haiti - UN goodwill ambassador and actor Angelina Jolie meets with MINUSTAH acting special representative Edmond Mulet in Port-au-Prince and then visits the SOS Village where 120 children are sheltered including 33 that were taken by ten Americans being held on kidnapping charges.

United Nations goodwill ambassador and actor Angelina Jolie visited the SOS Village today where 120 Haitian children are sheltered including the 33 that were taken by ten Americans being held by Haitian authorities on kidnapping charges.

Earlier, she met with the acting special representative of MINUSTAH (UN stabilization mission in Haiti) Edmond Mulet at the log base in Haiti.

Jolie is here to see firsthand the devastation of last months earthquake. On Sunday, she visited quake victims at a hospital in the Dominican Republic.

The Jolie-Pitt foundation has given (USD) one million dollars to Doctors Without Borders to provide emergency care to earthquake survivors. ................................................................................­..............................
