Congressman Rob Wittman joined 136 other House members to vote in favor of an alternative federal budget resolution to the proposed majority plan which would reign in spending, balance the budget, and place America on a path to fiscal responsibility.
That's great! Cool, I agree; the government shouldn't borrow so much money (excessive borrowing leads to inflation, which in turn leads to unemployment, from what I know.)
Does anyone know roughly what else needs to happen for this alternative bill for it to pass, beyond the House vote?
